Biographical Information

Born in the United Kingdom in 1807, Henry Short arrived in Melbourne in 1852. He was the father of William Short (Senior), and exhibited paintings of still lifes and Aborigines during the 1850s. Henry Short died in 1865. His work is represented in the National Gallery of Victoria. Edit or add to this biography
