Biographical Information

After training in industrial design, Jo Ewing worked as a landscape designer in Wellington fbefore going overseas. She developed her love of sketching by recording places on her travels.

After three years abroad she then worked with a landscape architect in Auckland, later she becoming self employed in the same field.

In 1987, during a trip to England, she enrolled in an intensive Botanical Illustration Course at Flatford Mill in Norfolk.

This taught her the watercolour techniques required to portray the beauty and endless variety of nature. Edit or add to this biography
