John Duncan Firth (1936-.) Australia

Biographical Information

Born in England in 1936, John Firth studied at the London Art College, served with the army in Northern Ireland and studied at the Belfast College of Technology, before arriving in Melbourne in 1964. Known as a landscape painter, portraitist and teacher, Firth has exhibited with the Victorian Artists Society, Australian Guild of Realist Artists, and at the Waterfall Gallery, Melbourne. He has won a number of awards and is represented in regional and public collections in Victoria. Edit or add to this biography
