John Heaviside (Waterloo) Clark (1770-1863) Australia

Biographical Information

Born in England in about 1770, John Heaviside Clark is not known to have visited Australia. He is, however known for the ten coloured plates engraved from his drawings by M Dubourg of Aboriginal and Australian animal studies. It has been suggested that the drawings may have been taken from original sketches by John William Lewin. Edit or add to this biography
