John Samuel Loxton (1903-69) Australia

Biographical Information

Born in Adelaide in 1903, Loxton studied at the National Gallery School, Melbourne, and at Swinburne Technical College. A noted watercolourist, he has exhibited widely, including an exhibition in the Qantas Gallery, London, in 1956. His work is represented in several major public collections. He died in 1971.
