Biographical Information

Born in Poland in 1946, Allan Mitelman arrived in Australia as a child. He studied in Melbourne before embarking on a two year trip to the Middle East and Europe. An abstract painter, sketcher and teacher, he has exhibited in Melbourne and Sydney since 1969 and in many overseas countries. His work is represented in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Australian National Gallery and several state galleries. Edit or add to this biography
