Biographical Information

Born in 1925, Joyce McGrath studied art at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in the 1940s. She worked as art librarian for the State Library of Victoria until her retirement in 1990. She continued to exhibit her paintings with the Victorian Art Society, and has been commissioned to paint several portraits. Her work is represented at Melbourne Grammar School and Monash University.
