Biographical Information

Born in 1942, Michael Lodge studied Architecture in Sydney in the 1960's.

He commenced cartooning/illustrating with the Canberra Times in 1965, and became a contributing cartoonist for The Australian and The Bulletin in the 1970's.

Michael Lodge won the Tooheys 'Paint a Pub' painting prize in 1974.

He worked in advertising and publishing in the 1980's and 1990's and won Royal Easter Show Figurative Painting and Award of Excellence prizes in 2012.

He is currently painting at McGrath's Hill N.S.W Edit or add to this biography
