Patricia Murphy (Working 1980s) Australia

Biographical Information

Born into the NSW rural community of Holbrook, Pat Murphy still retains an affinity with the outback.

With no formal training, Pat is self-taught, yet one can see the influence of some past master like Hans Heysen.

Like Heysen, Pat paints gum trees in the majestic style.

Several galleries have featured Pat with her own exhibitions. Her paintings have beer sold to clients overseas in many countries; United Kingdom, United States, Japan, Germany and Thailand.
