Biographical Information

A New South Wales artist, Peter McGregor was a realist tonal painter. He studied at the national Art School and had his first solo show in 1984. He later started painting shop fronts such as Miss Completely and Oxford Art Supplies in Darlinghurst, and then made public sculpture such as the Legs 11 at Taylor Square. He then studied architecture and now runs his own practice McGregor Westlake Architecture. As well as designing houses and apartment buildings, the practice has won a range of design awards from both the AIA and AILA for their public space and large scale art projects.
